At BAE Systems Detica we provide physical security assurance and risk management services.

Many of our consultants at Detica have extensive physical security experience and expertise working with several public and private and sector clients; a significant portion of our consultants have physical security backgrounds from previous employment with the Australian Department of Defence.

Detica has successfully completed a number of physical security consulting engagements with Australian federal government agencies, as well as commercial and not-for-profit organisations within Australia and internationally across various sectors. These engagements have ranged considerably in size and scope and across a variety of clients with diverse security profiles.  Engagements have ranged from assessments and audits of compliance with specifications and requirements, to conducting reviews of the effectiveness of physical security implementations, procedures and controls.  Detica has also developed strategies and policies for implementing physical and personnel security within various organisations.

Our consultants have conducted a wide-range of IT security audits and reviews for an extensive range of clients.  Many such reviews have an element of physical and personnel security that must be assessed in the context of protecting ICT assets, particularly with regard to data centre security.  Our consultants have extensive experience with physical security requirements specified in the Australian Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and the Defence Security Manual.
